Freelance Full-Stack Web App Developer

About the role

Mindrift seeks a Freelance Full-Stack Web App Developer for the Tendem project to build interactive browser-based applications. You will design, build, and maintain robust web apps using modern frontend frameworks and backend APIs, integrating AI services where needed. This part-time remote role is based in India.

What you’ll do

• Build interactive web applications with frontend frameworks and backend APIs
• Design and implement data models, schemas, and persistence layers
• Implement authentication, sessions, and basic role-based access
• Integrate third-party APIs and AI/LLM services into product features
• Handle state management, user input validation, error states, and loading states
• Build standalone Python tools and scripts for data processing or utilities
• Review, debug, optimize, and refactor full-stack applications
• Write clear, testable code and debug end-to-end issues

What you’ll bring

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in full-stack web development or shipping interactive web applications
• Strong command of JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one modern frontend framework (React, Next.js, Vue)
• Solid backend experience in Python (FastAPI, Flask) and/or Node.js (Express)
• Hands-on experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite) and basic schema design
• Experience implementing REST APIs, request validation, error handling, and authentication flows
• Portfolio of shipped web applications
• English proficiency: Upper-intermediate (B2) or above

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical fields
