About the role

Senior Mobile Developer leading SPAN’s mobile architecture for React Native apps. Guides technical direction, drives code quality, TDD, CI/CD, feature flagging, and monitoring. Designs, implements, and tests features, collaborating with product, design, firmware, backend, QA, and infrastructure teams. Requires 4+ years building user-facing apps, 3+ years mobile/React web dev, strong TypeScript, TDD, design ecosystem collaboration, CI/CD, feature flagging, and communication skills. Bonus: energy industry, IoT, gRPC, Protobuf, Monorepo experience. Works in Bengaluru office, in‑person culture.

What you’ll do

• Guide and drive technical direction for mobile architecture
• Drive code craft, tooling, monitoring, TDD
• Design, implement, test features in React Native apps
• Collaborate with product and design on mobile strategy
• Grow team knowledge via pair programming, code review, presentations, docs
• Partner with firmware and backend for seamless integration
• Partner with QA and Platform Infrastructure for quality system and deployments

What you’ll bring

• 4+ years building and shipping user-facing apps for large audiences
• 3+ years mobile or React web dev, preference for ReactNative
• Strong TypeScript experience
• Unshakable TDD practices
• Design ecosystem collaboration with design on shared components
• CI/CD best practices for testing and deployments
• Feature flagging strategy and best practices
• Outcomes-oriented communication and collaboration skills
