Area Sales Manager

About the role

Paytm's Oil and Gas vertical Focused Offline payment solution team builds payment solutions for oil, petrol, and gas bills via POS and EDC machines, serving petrol and gas station merchants and other retail businesses. As an Area Sales Manager in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, you will drive EDC machine sales across multiple locations, onboard and service merchants, maintain relationships with PSU and oil marketing companies, and oversee end-to-end sales and operations. This is an on-site, full-time role requiring graduation or post-graduation.

What you’ll do

• Drive swiping device sales in the assigned area
• Onboard new merchants for offline solutions and service existing merchants
• Maintain good relationships with PSU companies and oil marketing companies
• Resolve merchant queries and drive overall merchant engagement
• Set clear team goals, delegate tasks, and set deadlines
• Oversee day-to-day operations and monitor team performance and metrics
• Discover training needs, provide coaching, and resolve team issues or conflicts
• Recognize high performance, reward accomplishments, and organize team building activities
