Product Security Lead

About the role

Cybersecurity team at Ideagen safeguards product portfolios by embedding secure‑by‑design principles across development. The Product Security Lead guides product teams, conducts threat modelling, oversees vulnerability remediation, and coordinates penetration testing while collaborating with Technology, Product, and third‑party vendors. Hyderabad, India, on‑site work model.

What you’ll do

• Embed security practices such as threat modelling and secure code principles into agile product development
• Act as security subject matter expert for product lines, maintaining risk registers and addressing security queries
• Develop deep product knowledge to identify risks and influence secure decision‑making
• Monitor key risk indicators and ensure timely remediation of vulnerabilities
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and third‑party vendors to manage cloud and emerging technology risks
• Coordinate penetration testing activities and track findings via JIRA/Confluence
• Support incident response readiness, including simulations and documentation
• Drive alignment with enterprise security best practices and asset management

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years cloud security experience
• Strong secure architecture/design background
• Proficiency in vulnerability management tools like Nessus
• Deep knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and CWE
• Experience with AWS security services
• Experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines
• Project management and analytical skills
• Relevant certifications (CEH, CISM, CISSP)

Nice to have

• Familiarity with ISO27001, SOC2, FedRAMP frameworks
• Experience with penetration testing coordination
• Knowledge of SIEM, IDS/IPS, DLP solutions
• Understanding of network, Windows, Linux security
• Basic scripting or programming skills
• Experience with incident response and forensics
• Ability to support customer security audits
• AWS Security Specialty certification

Skills
