Fullstack Engineer (Python & React.Js)

About the role

ConveGenius (Weekday AI client) builds a large‑scale Open edX learning platform serving millions of Indian learners. The Fullstack Engineer leads development and customization of the Python/Django backend and React frontend, designs system architecture, and drives DevOps pipelines and cloud deployments. Based in Noida, on‑site work required, with a focus on accessibility, EdTech standards, and integration of AI and credentialing services.

What you’ll do

• Lead full‑stack development and maintenance of Open edX platform
• Own backend services, models, APIs, and Celery tasks
• Develop and customize React UI components and XBlocks
• Design system architecture and microservice integrations
• Establish DevOps practices, CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes pipelines
• Define code quality standards and test automation
• Guide engineering teams through sprint planning and code reviews
• Manage cloud infrastructure, scalability planning, and incident response

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years full‑stack development with Python/Django and React
• Hands‑on Open edX platform customization
• Design and maintain microservices and APIs
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and containerised deployments
• Lead technical teams and manage sprint planning
• Ensure platform scalability, security, and accessibility
• Integrate identity, assessment, and AI systems
• Experience with EdTech standards (xAPI, SCORM, LTI 1.3)
