Marketing Data & Application Engineer

About the role

The Marketing Data & Application Engineer role supports the VISIS and QuoteView systems within the marketing data and application team. Day-to-day work includes Microsoft SQL Server 2022 data warehouse administration and development, .NET/Windows Forms application development and maintenance, ETL/integration process management, data model design aligned with SAP/BW structures, and corporate report creation. The position is based in Loni, IN and is a full-time role.

What you’ll do

• Administer and develop the Microsoft SQL Server 2022 data warehouse for VISIS
• Develop and maintain .NET / Windows Forms applications for QuoteView
• Manage upgrades and migrations in line with IT landscape changes to ensure system stability and performance
• Design, update, and adapt data models and application structures to evolving business requirements and SAP/BW data structures
• Ensure reliable data integration and processing, including daily data loads, monitoring, and issue resolution
• Develop and maintain ETL/integration processes aligned with source system changes, data quality monitoring, and error handling
• Perform regular data refreshes and optimize data models for reporting and analytics (e.g., VISIS Cube)
• Troubleshoot and resolve system and code issues, ensuring high availability and performance

What you’ll bring

• Experience with object-oriented programming and relational database development
• Proficiency in C#, Visual Basic, SQL, and XML
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2022
• Experience with SQL Server Business Intelligence (BI)
• Experience with .NET / Windows Forms
• Experience with ETL processes
