Analyst/Associate, Private Fund Services

About the role

Alternative Fund Services team administers hedge fund, private equity and real estate investment vehicles, preparing financial statements, investor reports, and supporting audit processes. The Analyst/Associate performs bookkeeping, reconciliations, fee calculations, journal entry reviews, and leads special projects while coordinating with stakeholders. Bengaluru, India, on-site work model.

What you’ll do

• Provide direction and review journal entries in Investran
• Prepare and review fund-level financial statements and investor capital calls/distributions
• Interpret fund agreements for reporting impact
• Escalate issues to manager proactively
• Lead special and ad hoc projects for internal and client initiatives
• Support audit processes
• Monitor and improve processes and technology

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting, ICWA, CA, MBA, or CPA
• Minimum 4 years accounting experience, preferably private equity or hedge fund
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Team player with project completion focus
• Client service orientation
