AI Software Engineer, VP

About the role

Join the platform engineering team as an AI Software Engineer at VP level, designing, producing, testing, and implementing software across the full system lifecycle. You will work in a permanent feature team, liaising with principal engineers and architects to understand the platform and support business objectives, applying Agile methods and focusing on automation of build, test, and deployment. The role is based in Chennai, Bengaluru, or Gurugram and is full-time.

What you’ll do

• Develop knowledge of aspects of the associated platform across business, applications, data, and infrastructure disciplines
• Liaise with principal engineers, architects, and key stakeholders to understand platform workings and business support
• Apply Agile methods to software development on the backlog
• Produce resilient and long-lived software and act flexibly to cope with future needs
• Deliver intentional architecture and formulate emergent design through innovative ideas, experimentation, and prototyping
• Design and develop software with a focus on automation of build, test, and deployment activities using executable patterns

What you’ll bring

• At least 12 years of strong full stack experience in software design and implementation
• Ability to exploit programming languages to solve complex problems
• Capability in complex requirements analysis capture and validation against business and systems requirements
• Experience in Python with Machine Learning frameworks such as NumPy, Pandas, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Transformers
• Hands-on experience with Large Language Models such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Llama
• Expertise in Machine Learning or Deep Learning algorithms and NLP, including deep learning architectures and vector embeddings
• Sound collaboration skills to work with business teams and produce pragmatic solutions
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills to convey complex technical concepts simply
