Accounting Entry Professional

About the role

Hitachi Vantara's Finance function seeks an Accounting Entry Professional (P1) in Pune, Maharashtra, India. The role handles financial transaction recording, account reconciliation, and internal/external accounting reports and schedules, with possible cost accounting, budgeting, and accounts payable/receivable duties. Work is closely supervised with problems that are not typically difficult or complex. This is a full-time, hybrid position.

What you’ll do

• Ensure compliance with financial transaction recording standards (general ledger, cash payments/collections, tax transactions)
• Perform control and reconciliation of accounts and records (balance sheet, P&L, bank accounts)
• Prepare accounting reports and schedules for internal management and external compliance audiences
• Support consolidation of financial statements, cash flow reporting, and budget reporting
• Handle cost accounting and budgeting tasks including allocation of direct/indirect costs, variance analysis, and budget preparation where applicable
• Manage accounts payable/receivable and/or credit and collections where applicable
