About the role

Medical Reviewer on AstraZeneca's Medical Review team, ensuring scientific accuracy and regulatory compliance of US promotional materials. Leads cross‑functional reviews, provides strategic guidance on brand messaging, and develops scientific content while collaborating with Medical, Marketing, Legal, and Compliance partners. Bangalore, hybrid (minimum three days onsite).

What you’ll do

  • Lead medical/scientific review of US promotional materials
  • Assess clinical evidence and claims for regulatory compliance
  • Advise on brand messaging and strategic alignment
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve content issues
  • Utilize technology platforms to track and approve materials
  • Develop scientific content such as narratives and slide decks
  • Drive process improvements to accelerate approvals
  • Facilitate cross‑functional discussions and meetings

What you’ll bring

  • 8-10 years pharmaceutical industry experience
  • Advanced scientific or healthcare degree (PharmD, MD, PhD, MPH, DDS/BDS)
  • Experience with US promotional review and MLR/PRC processes
  • Strong understanding of FDA promotional regulations
  • Proficiency with Vault PromoMats and MedComms platforms
  • Ability to develop scientific narratives and slide decks
  • Strategic problem solving and project management skills
  • Mentoring and coaching team members
