Team Lead - Engineering

About the role

Tripstack, a B2B Flights as a Service provider within Etraveli Group, seeks a Team Lead to architect scalable flight search systems in Pune. The role involves leading an agile team of developers and QA engineers while driving technical roadmaps and mentoring senior staff. This is a hybrid position requiring on-site presence in India.

What you’ll do

• Architect scalable, low-latency, fault-tolerant systems for flight combinations
• Lead the team through ideation, planning, design, implementation, and QA
• Drive the technical roadmap and manage technical debt
• Mentor senior engineers and promote responsible AI adoption
• Act as scrum master and improve SDLC workflows
• Ensure secure coding practices and resolve technical ambiguity
• Translate business objectives into clear engineering tasks
• Monitor releases and provide second-level on-call support

What you’ll bring

• 8-12 years software development experience with C#, .NET Core, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Minimum 2 years leading an agile development team
• Strong experience leading mid-sized teams (7-10 members) including developers and QA
• Expertise in developing and integrating REST APIs, XML, JSON, and SOAP
• Strong architectural and system design skills

Nice to have

• Experience with GCP or AWS
• Proficiency with code review tools like SonarQube
• Hands-on experience resolving ambiguous problem areas
• Ability to influence engineering best practices and coding standards
