Java Full Stack Cloud Native Developer

About the role

Fioneer, a SAP spin‑off, delivers cloud‑native financial services solutions. We seek a Java Full Stack Cloud Native Developer to join our product team in Pune. The role involves designing, coding, testing, and deploying microservices and web applications using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST, and OData. You will build responsive UIs with React.js, Angular, or UI5, and develop mobile experiences in Flutter, Android, or iOS. Collaboration across distributed teams and adherence to Agile practices are essential. Candidates should have at least three years of backend experience, a bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field, and strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, OpenShift). What you’ll do

• Executing software development based on the reviewed design and conducting thorough developer tests to uphold code quality.
• Performing testing on newly developed software during the internal test phase (functional integration test), promptly addressing any identified issues.
• Taking responsibility for resolving issues in the software discovered during internal & external tests to ensure a smooth deployment process.
• Analyzing and resolving complex issues in both existing and new code, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Demonstrating excellent development, quality, and delivery skills within the project team, actively contributing to short development and release cycles.
• Collaborating effectively with geographically distributed teams, ensuring seamless communication and coordination for successful project outcomes.
• Implementing and adhering to agile software engineering methods, actively participating in the complete software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, quality assurance and documentation.

What you’ll bring

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs on the backend
• Academic degree in Computer Science, Engineering or comparable qualification

Nice to have

• Experience in financial or banking systems will be added advantage.
• Strong development knowledge on Flutter, Android/IOS, Hybrid App (JavaScript, HTML5) development
