What you’ll do

  • Design and maintain SOAR workflows and playbooks
  • Develop Python scripts and automation tools for incident response
  • Integrate security tools and platforms via APIs
  • Create Splunk queries, dashboards, and alerts for threat hunting
  • Implement automation solutions in AWS for security controls
  • Perform log analysis, data correlation, and anomaly detection
  • Lead cross‑functional automation projects and mentor junior staff
  • Evaluate new tools and contribute to automation roadmap

What you’ll bring

  • 5+ years security operations or SOAR engineering
  • Proficiency in Python for automation
  • Experience with SOAR platforms (e.g., Splunk SOAR, Palo Alto XSOAR, Tines)
  • AWS security and cloud automation experience
  • Integration experience with CrowdStrike, RecordedFuture, Splunk
  • Advanced Splunk query and dashboard development
  • RESTful API design and implementation
  • Mentoring junior engineers
