ICT Engineer

About the role

WSP GCC HK Advisory is seeking an ICT Engineer to join the Electrical & ICT team supporting WSP HK Advisory business in delivering designs from concept to detailed design for major multi-disciplinary projects. The role involves independent design delivery of ICT and ELV systems for infrastructure projects including sewage water treatment plants, buildings, highways, rail, metro, mainline railway, and tunnels, with client interaction and stakeholder coordination. Based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, the position follows a hybrid work model.

What you’ll do

• Develop concept, schematic, and detailed designs for structured cabling (Cat 6/6A, Fiber – SM/MM), LAN, WAN & Wi-Fi systems, telephony & unified communications, CCTV, video surveillance, access contro
• Prepare drawings, specifications, BOQs, and design reports
• Map radar, LiDAR, traffic control & surveillance systems
• Participate in client meetings, design workshops, and reviews
• Support tendering activities including technical clarifications and evaluations
• Coordinate activities, handle tasks, provide technical guidance, and foster collaborations
• Ensure compliance with TIA/EIA, ISO/IEC, IEEE, BICSI, NFPA, and local codes
• Apply resilience, redundancy, and cybersecurity principles where applicable

What you’ll bring

• Graduate electrical engineer
• Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of electrical design
• Deep understanding of network architecture, infrastructure, databases, and security protocols
• Ability to work with minimal supervision on all technical aspects
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with commitment to safety, quality, programme, delivery, budget, and continuous improvement
• Ability to establish, build, sustain and share strong professional relationships
