Workspace Support Technician

About the role

HealthEdge seeks a Workspace Support Technician in Chennai to manage hardware lifecycle and deskside support. The role involves imaging Windows devices, troubleshooting hardware failures, and maintaining accurate CMDB asset records. This full-time position operates on-site with 1–3 years of required experience.

What you’ll do

• Image, configure, and deploy laptops, desktops, and mobile phones per standard specifications
• Provide deskside support for hardware issues and coordinate warranty replacements
• Support conference room AV technology and printer infrastructure
• Maintain accurate asset records in CMDB and manage on-site inventory
• Coordinate shipping and receiving of hardware for remote employees
• Ensure secure data destruction and disposal procedures for decommissioned equipment

What you’ll bring

• 1–3 years in field services, deskside support, or IT technician roles
• Hands-on experience imaging and deploying Windows 10/11 laptops
• Familiarity with hardware components, peripherals, and basic troubleshooting
• Experience with asset tracking or CMDB tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physical office environments
