About the role
Accenture’s Capability Network seeks a GN Industry Auto Analyst in Bengaluru to deliver cutting-edge industry and functional expertise to global clients. The role focuses on Transmission & Distribution utilities, where you will define solutions for complex grid operations projects, prepare roadmaps for competitive service offerings, and manage large digitally enabled programmes. Day-to-day work includes hands-on work with advanced grid operation applications, business readiness and deployment activities, and leading teams from a thought leadership and demand management perspective.
What you’ll do
- Work independently on defining solutions for complex projects or contribute to solutions of a program
- Specialize in a technology/domain/functional competency area and prepare a roadmap for the competency/Utility industry segment in the form of competitive service offerings
- Get involved in assignments in large programs, helping define business and technological solutions that help customers design and implement new business processes and organization capabilities
- Programme management of large, complex business programmes to deliver digitally enabled solutions
- Drive Business Readiness and Deployment activities for region(s)
- Identify opportunities by farming existing relationships and growing new networks
- Draw on extensive knowledge and experience across System Integration projects to provide insightful, deal-relevant points of view and recommendations based on robust analysis
- Provide executives and their teams with the necessary strategies and tools to position their organizations for high performance
What you’ll bring
- 4+ years’ experience in T&D Utilities in Grid Operations
- 3+ years of experience working in Grid Operations with advanced knowledge of operation technology systems (at least 3 of SCADA, ADMS, EMS, OMS, Grid Cybersecurity, MDMS, AMR/AMI, DRMS, DERMS, GIS)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Field Operations, Control Centre operations, Planning and Management
- Exposure to Analytics, Mobility and Cloud technologies in Field Operations, System Planning, Microgrid Planning, Asset Management and Predictive Analytics
- MBA (Tier 1) or equivalent, with relevant accreditation for the Utilities industry
- Deep knowledge in Utilities industry with core expertise in Transmission & Distribution including Grid Operations, Field Operations, Smart Grids and AMI
- Hands-on experience working with T&D systems, especially deep experience with at least 3 of the listed systems including OSI SCADA platform
- Programme management experience and track record of successful delivery of large, complex programmes
Nice to have
- Relevant Grid Ops or Energy Efficiency Certification in Utilities
- SCADA Certification (OSI/Schneider/GE etc.)
- EMS/ADMS/GIS/OMS hands-on experience
- ICS Security Certification
- IBM Maximo Asset Management experience
- Sound knowledge of regulatory intricacies with experience driving initiatives to meet compliance requirements such as CAPEX plans, grid predictability and grid reliability
- Exposure to International Utilities clients, including onshore client-facing consulting work experience
- Blend of Utilities Industry and Consulting (and Technology if possible)
