About the role
HSBC’s International Wealth and Premier Banking (IWPB) team seeks an Associate Vice President to drive wealth sales for the Global Indian diaspora in Bangalore. The role focuses on growing the NRI portfolio by building high-net-worth relationships, advising on investment products, and maximizing client satisfaction through borderless banking solutions. This is a hybrid position based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
What you’ll do
- Maximize profit and growth of Premier clients portfolio
- Achieve financial targets by developing existing and new relationships
- Advise clients on products/services to meet long-term goals
- Build network of professional contacts to introduce new business
- Coach wider Branch team using sales activity management information
- Maintain complete and up-to-date Client Relationship Management data
- Monitor client satisfaction and implement portfolio-level improvements
- Collaborate with branch teams to deliver RBWM performance measures
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of five years proven financial services/retail sales experience
- Strong sales results in insurance and investment products
- Relationship management experience with high net worth clients
- Valid licenses/accreditation on wealth management as required by country
Nice to have
- Sound knowledge of financial services products and CRM systems
- Understanding of business banking client segment
- Ability to communicate well in English and local languages
- Clear view on working with Compliance, Credit & Risk and Internal Control
