Senior Software Engineer - Risk

About the role

FalconX, the institutional gateway to digital asset markets, seeks a Senior Software Engineer - Risk in Bengaluru. You will architect and build next-generation risk solutions, developing proprietary tools and scalable infrastructure for crypto trading. This is an on-site role focused on enhancing risk technology for high-volume digital asset strategies.

What you’ll do

• Architect and build scalable, robust, performant risk solutions for institutional customers
• Develop, maintain, and enhance proprietary risk management tools, infrastructure, and data
• Collaborate with the risk team to improve the risk management stack
• Coach and mentor teammates on supporting FalconX’s risk solutions

What you’ll bring

• Degree in Computer Science, EE, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or equivalent
• At least 4 years professional experience in a quant risk role
• Experience in risk management within a trading environment (hedge fund or bank)
• Knowledge of financial products and derivatives asset classes

Nice to have

• Extensive software engineering experience with object-oriented design and distributed architectures
• Python programming proficiency
• Comfort working with Linux/AWS environments
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to mentor teammates
