Program Manager I, ATS Programs

About the role

As a Program Manager I within Amazon Transportation Service (ATS), you will execute and improve programs that drive operational excellence across air, sea, and road transportation networks. Day-to-day, you will manage defined projects, track performance metrics, coordinate cross-functional tasks, and support process standardization and continuous improvement. This full-time role is based in Hyderabad, TS, IND.

What you’ll do

• Execute defined programs and support launches within a structured scope
• Track performance metrics and provide updates on program deliverables
• Use data to identify operational gaps and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions and best practices
• Coordinate tasks, manage dependencies, and escalate risks when needed
• Support process standardization and documentation to improve scalability and consistency

What you’ll bring

• 2+ years of program or project management experience
• 1+ years of working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams
• Experience supporting process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
• Working knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs) and basic SQL
• Experience coordinating program execution and tracking performance

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology
• Experience in MS Access and SQL
• Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement documents
• Experience in written and verbal communication with the ability to present complex technical information clearly to executives and non-technical leaders
• Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
• Experience in resolving conflicts, providing crisis management triage, and setting appropriate expectations with customers
• Experience owning program strategy, managing end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
