About the role
SYSTRA India is hiring a Chief Expert - Integration, Testing and Commissioning (International) for the Mumbai–Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Project, providing Project Management Consultancy Services for the Signalling & Telecommunication, SCADA, and Ticketing systems. The role reports to the PD and Dy. PD and leads planning, execution, and final acceptance of integration, testing, and commissioning for the S&T-OCC system, including preparing plans, coordinating with contractors and statutory authorities (CMRS/RDSO), and supervising trial tests with NHSRCL. Based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, this is a contract position.
What you’ll do
- Plan integration, testing and commissioning of sub systems/prototypes of S&T-OCC system
- Prepare integration, testing and commissioning plans based on inputs from all sub systems, standards, best practices, and operational requirements to demonstrate system readiness for commercial operat
- Final acceptance of the S&T-OCC System based on results of prototype, serial and/or system tests
- Submit necessary documents and hold discussions with CMRS/RDSO/other Statutory Authorities to obtain approvals
- Plan, arrange and supervise all trial tests, if required, with support of Client (NHSRCL) well in advance of trial runs
- Assist and coordinate with different parties such as contractors and ISA
- Perform any other roles and responsibilities required to complete the project as assigned by PD and Client (NHSRCL)
What you’ll bring
- Engineering Graduate (B.E/B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics stream or equivalent)
- Overall 20 years of experience in Railways/Metro
- 10 years of experience in integration of systems during construction phase in Rail-based Transit System project(s)
- Minimum 02 years of experience as in-charge of Integration, Testing and Commissioning in High Speed Rail Project(s)
- High-Speed Railways projects (ETCS based) with operational speed equal or greater than 250 Kmph considered for evaluation
- Semi High-Speed Railways projects with operational speed equal to or greater than 160 Kmph considered for evaluation
- Metro Railways excluding LRT/Tram/Monorail Systems considered for evaluation
