About the role

Vehicle Engineering Systems (VES) team at Mahindra & Mahindra builds advanced cockpit electronics, infotainment, heads‑up display and connected vehicle solutions. The Senior Lead Engineer drives test strategy, creates automated and manual test cases, and leads execution on HIL benches while ensuring A‑SPICE/CMMI Level 5 compliance. Chennai, on‑site, hybrid schedule with occasional remote days, relocation assistance available.

What you’ll do

• Define test plans and generate test cases for infotainment and HUD systems
• Execute hardware‑in‑loop testing and monitor results
• Track defects and manage requirement traceability
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance
• Mentor junior engineers in test methodologies

What you’ll bring

• 6-8 years experience in driver display and connectivity testing
• Proficiency with CAN, LIN, Ethernet, J1939, UDS protocols
• Hands‑on with CANoe, Vehicle Spy, and test management tools
• CAPL, Python, C/C# programming for test automation
• Experience with HIL simulators (dSPACE/NI) and functional safety (ISO 26262)
