About the role

AI Solutions team at Gartner builds advanced analytical insights and recommendation engines for a digital marketplace. The Lead Engineer drives R&D to design, fine‑tune and deploy LLM/ML models for text extraction, analysis and actionable insights, owning the full solution lifecycle from prototype to production while collaborating with engineering and product. Chennai, hybrid work model with on‑site collaboration as needed.

What you’ll do

• Lead R&D design and implement LLM/ML solutions
• Develop and fine‑tune models to match content to customers
• Own end‑to‑end lifecycle from prototyping to production
• Collaborate with engineering and product to gather requirements
• Create visualizations and reports, mentor junior team members

What you’ll bring

• 6-8 years software engineering experience
• Proficiency in Python and OOP
• Experience with AWS ML/LLM services
• Hands‑on with LLMs such as OpenAI, Cohere, Anthropic
• Developed NLP, BERT, Transformers, deep learning models
• Agile Scrum delivery environment
