Net Fullstack Developer, React

About the role

Technology & Engineering Department at Cognizant builds secure, resilient consumer lending platforms. The Net Fullstack Developer creates and maintains end‑to‑end lending applications using .NET, ASP.NET Core, React and Azure, designing APIs, SQL Server data models and responsive UI components. Works in a hybrid model collaborating with analysts, product owners and operations to deliver features, troubleshoot production issues and ensure compliance with responsible lending standards.

What you’ll do

• Design and develop secure, scalable consumer lending applications using .NET and React
• Implement responsive UI components and ensure accessibility across channels
• Create and maintain complex SQL Server data models, stored procedures, and queries
• Develop and expose RESTful APIs with ASP.NET Core for internal and partner integrations
• Utilize Azure services to build cloud‑ready, resilient solutions
• Enforce coding standards, secure coding practices and automated unit testing
• Collaborate with analysts, product owners and operations in a hybrid environment to refine requirements and deliver incremental value
• Troubleshoot and resolve production and performance issues across the full stack

What you’ll bring

• 4+ years of .NET (Framework, ASP.NET Core, MVC) development
• Strong SQL Server experience including schema design and query tuning
• Proficient in React, JavaScript, HTML/CSS for SPA development
• Experience deploying applications on Azure services (App Service, Functions, Storage)
• Hands‑on consumer lending domain knowledge (origination, underwriting, servicing)
• Understanding of microservice patterns and RESTful API design
• Ability to write secure, testable code and conduct code reviews
• Effective communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
