About the role

IN Solutions Engineering Team designs and implements material flow and automation solutions for Amazon's fulfillment network in India. The role leads concept development, collaborates with vendors and internal teams, conducts post‑implementation design reviews, and updates standards across sites. Bengaluru, on-site with travel across India, apprenticeship program required.

What you’ll do

• Lead conception and execution of material handling solutions
• Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to create innovative designs
• Conduct detailed design reviews post‑implementation
• Document designs and update standards with launch and pre‑construction teams
• Foster relationships with launch, procurement, IT, safety, and operations teams
• Travel to sites across India for stakeholder interactions

What you’ll bring

• 1+ years Amazon RME Mechatronics & Robotics Technician experience
• 1+ years Microsoft Office applications
• Associate's degree or 2+ years professional/military experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of systems controls
• Experience with SCADA systems and KPIs
• Experience with Ladder Logic and PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Codesys)
• Ability to complete 12-week training and 2-year onsite apprenticeship
