About the role
BTVK Advisory, the tax advisory arm of Baker Tilly, helps clients navigate complex U.S. tax regulations and develop strategic tax solutions. The Tax Senior Associate prepares and reviews corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns, mentors junior staff, and drives continuous improvement in tax processes. Bangalore, KA, India, on-site, 3 days onsite per week.
What you’ll do
- Participate in client engagements providing corporate, partnership and individual tax services
- Prepare and review federal, foreign, state and local tax returns and related filings
- Coach and review work of tax staff
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field
- CPA (US) or CA (ICAI) preferred or eligibility to obtain certification
- Minimum 3 years U.S. taxation experience
- Public accounting experience with corporate (1120) and partnership (1065) returns
- At least 2 years tax preparation and 1 year review experience
- Strong client service and multi‑engagement management
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work overtime and travel as needed
