About the role
Cushman & Wakefield seeks a Manager - Architecture/Interior Design (Hospitality) in Bengaluru, India to lead corporate interior design projects from concept through completion. You will collaborate with senior designers and clients to develop design concepts, 3D visualizations, and documentation, while overseeing junior designers and coordinating with contractors and vendors. The role is on-site and requires 8+ years of hotel/hospitality interior design experience.

- Develop comprehensive design concepts, mood boards, space plans, and 3D visualizations that effectively communicate design intent to clients and project teams.
- Lead the selection of furniture, fixtures, materials, finishes, and lighting to meet design goals, budget considerations, and project timelines.
- Create design documentation, including detailed drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
- Oversee and guide junior designers in drawing documentation, including detailed drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
- Participate in client presentations, effectively conveying design concepts and incorporating feedback to refine and enhance designs.
- Collaborate with external partners, including contractors, vendors, and suppliers, to ensure seamless execution of design concepts during the construction and installation phases.
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
- 8+ years of experience in hotel/hospitality interior design, with a proven track record of leading successful projects.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, and Microsoft office suite.
- Strong conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into compelling design solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, enabling effective interaction with clients, project teams, and stakeholders.
- Portfolio showcasing a range of completed corporate interior design projects that highlight your design approach, creativity, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality design standards.
- Project management skills, scheduling, and risk assessment.
Nice to have
- Experience using AI tools is a bonus.
- Familiarity with sustainable design principles and LEED certification is advantageous.
- Familiarity with wellbeing in design principles and WELL certification is advantageous.
