About the role

Finance Technology team at Amazon builds and operates large‑scale finance platforms supporting procure‑to‑pay, order‑to‑cash and report‑to‑report processes. The IT Application Engineer will operate and enhance e‑Business suite modules, provide end‑user support, perform gap analysis, design system modifications, and create SQL queries for troubleshooting and reporting. Hyderabad, on-site, hybrid schedule as defined by team.

What you’ll do

• Operate and enhance finance applications across multiple geographies
• Provide end‑user support and problem management for e‑Business suite modules
• Perform gap analysis and design system modifications
• Collaborate with business customers, developers and Oracle Support to resolve issues
• Create SQL queries for troubleshooting, metrics, and ad‑hoc reporting

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor in Computer Science Engineering or related field
• 1+ years IBM Cognos TM1 (Planning Analytics) experience
• 1+ years software development experience
