About the role
Applied Materials seeks a SailPoint Consultant in Bangalore, India to support identity governance and administration (IGA) initiatives for its semiconductor equipment and materials engineering business. The role involves hands-on SailPoint IdentityIQ development, deployment, workflow customization, connector onboarding, and access certification configuration, alongside requirements gathering, testing, and audit support. The position is full-time with 10% travel and relocation eligibility.
What you’ll do
- Participate in requirements gathering sessions
- Onboard connectors such as JDBC, Delimited File, AD, Workday, WebService, and SCIM
- Customize SailPoint IIQ LCM workflows and implement custom rules, forms, workflows, reports, and access certifications
- Create automation or manual test plans for application testing
- Support internal and external assessments and audits and report information security administration process and practice violations
- Monitor contingent workers work quality and provide guidelines for project and support service delivery while adhering to compliance processes
- Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills
What you’ll bring
- Bachelors Science in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5-7 years IAM product suite implementation experience
- 3+ years with SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) 6.x, 7.x, and 8.x including LCM and CM, all IIQ modules, installation, and upgrade
- Expertise in User Provisioning, Access Certifications, Access Request, Workflow, Delegated Administration, and Password Self-Service in SailPoint IdentityIQ
- Experience in Java/J2EE development, XML, XHTML, JSF, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, AngularJS, PowerShell, Java, BeanShell, Web Service, and SQL Databases
- Strong knowledge of Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) concepts, principles, and technologies
- Hands-on knowledge of SailPoint IdentityIQ development and deployment
- Experience writing LDAP and SQL queries
