About the role
HDFC ERGO General Insurance team drives growth through a robust agency network across India. The Senior Agency Manager recruits, motivates, and certifies agents, sets premium targets, and ensures agents are well‑versed in products and policies. This role coordinates with underwriting, claims, and finance teams to resolve issues and streamline commission payouts. Based in Dhanbad, Jharkhand, on‑site work required.
What you’ll do
- Identify and recruit potential agents
- Motivate and certify agents to meet premium goals
- Provide product and policy training to agents
- Monitor agent performance and address dormancy
- Coordinate with underwriting, claims, and finance teams for issue resolution
What you’ll bring
- 1-4 years insurance sales experience
- Proven track record in agent recruitment and motivation
- Strong knowledge of insurance products and underwriting processes
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
- Ability to set and achieve premium targets
