About the role

Collins Aerospace Procurement team drives sourcing excellence for indirect commodities, ensuring cost‑effective, on‑time delivery across the aerospace and defense portfolio. The Senior Associate Engineer manages supplier identification, purchase order lifecycle, price negotiations, and cost analysis while collaborating with internal stakeholders. Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, on‑site role with occasional remote flexibility.

What you’ll do

• Identify and qualify suppliers leveraging existing agreements
• Manage end‑to‑end purchase order process for assigned commodities
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms with suppliers
• Analyze quotes and make sourcing recommendations
• Ensure on‑time delivery and compliance with policies
• Coordinate with requisitioners and functional groups

What you’ll bring

• 4-6 years procurement experience in manufacturing
• Proficiency with SAP procurement modules
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills
• Knowledge of lean principles
• Familiarity with indirect commodities
