SAP BW Developer

About the role

Zensar Technologies is hiring an SAP BW Developer in Hyderabad, Telangana, India to deliver SAP S/4 HANA BW on HANA and BW4HANA solutions. The role involves end-to-end development across full-life cycle implementations, building ADSOs, Composite Providers, Open ODS views, transformations, BEX queries, and HANA calculation views, along with data extraction, interface development, and reporting for FICO, OTC, P2P, inventory, and demand planning. The position requires 7-12 years of experience and is based on-site in Hyderabad.

What you’ll do

• Perform end-to-end development across multiple full-life cycle implementations of SAP BW4HANA or BW-on-HANA
• Develop ADSOs, Composite Providers, Open ODS views, Transformations, BEX Queries, and HANA Calc views
• Build and enhance extractors (ABAP & CDS based) and related enhancements using BW-relevant coding and SQL
• Develop reporting for FICO, OTC, P2P, Inventory, and Demand Planning
• Develop inbound/outbound interfaces from BW to non-SAP systems and handle legacy to BW, SAP/non-SAP extraction
• Work with various data provisioning options including BODS, SDA, and SDI
• Apply BW4 application and database security concepts
• Support S/4 embedded analytics

What you’ll bring

• 7-12 years of experience in SAP BW on HANA and BW4HANA, BW & BI
• Strong native SAP HANA modeler capable of building graphical and scripted calculation views/Information models for SAP ECC data
• Strong in SQL, SQL scripting, procedures, and debugging SQL
• Prior HANA projects across SAP ECC Logistics modules (SD, MM, PM, EHS Management, Reliability) and Supply Chain Management
• In-depth expertise in SAP HANA Live and experience with quantity and currency conversions for value and amount measures in HANA models
• Background or extensive expertise in SAP BW versions 3.x, 7.0, 7.3, 7.4, and 7.5 (on HANA)
• Expert architect with broad experience modeling data in LSA (without HANA) and LSA++ (with HANA) layers
• Significant experience with SAP BusinessObjects products including Web Intelligence, Dashboard Builder, Mobile, Explorer, Voyager, and Xcelsius Enterprise

Nice to have

• BW-Integrated Planning (IP) experience is a plus
• Experience in SAP AFO 2.x with HANA, scheduling workbooks, and use variants is desired
• Knowledge of Tableau is nice to have
• Knowledge of the SAP BPC module will be an advantage
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is good to have
• Experience with financial and/or supply chain modules based on ERP systems, preferably SAP
