About the role
Marketplace Finance team at Amazon drives financial performance for its e‑commerce marketplace. The Senior Finance Analyst partners with business leaders to own P&L, conduct financial reporting, forecasting, and provide data‑driven insights to improve margins, vendor terms, and cash flow. What you’ll do
- Own P&L for a business vertical and drive financial planning and analysis
- Perform financial reporting, ad‑hoc analyses, and financial modeling
- Present recommendations to senior leadership on strategic decisions
- Provide controllership, improve transparency and controls
- Facilitate weekly/monthly/quarterly financial reviews with business leaders
- Collaborate with accounting to close monthly, quarterly, and annual books
What you’ll bring
- 3+ years tax, finance or related analytical experience
- 4+ years accounts receivable or payable experience
- 4+ years applying financial KPIs to analyses
- 4+ years creating process improvements with automation
- Chartered Accountant or MBA (Finance)
