Senior Principal, AI Delivery & Governance Lead

About the role

SMBS AI (SimCorp's AI programme) builds a live AI ecosystem with production agents, redesigned workflows and measured outcomes. The Senior Principal leads AI delivery and governance, owning the AI backlog, coordinating cross‑team dependencies, and ensuring high‑impact use cases are prioritized and delivered. Based in Noida, India with a hybrid work model (2 days onsite).

What you’ll do

• Manage interface between SMBS AI and other SimCorp AI teams
• Maintain Integration Dependency Register as source of truth for cross‑team dependencies
• Represent SMBS AI in governance forums and steering committees
• Facilitate scope resolution with Product AI team
• Own AI use case backlog, ensuring structured scoring and prioritization
• Coordinate sprint planning and release sequencing with build team
• Manage intake and prioritization of change requests for production agents
• Prepare board and executive materials on progress, investment, and impact

Nice to have

• 7+ years program management or operational transformation in financial services
• Deep understanding of investment operations across data management, investment operations, and accounting
• Proven ability to coordinate across multiple teams with competing priorities
• Experience managing structured backlogs and prioritization frameworks
• Strong stakeholder management and facilitation at senior/executive levels
• Ability to discuss AI agent design and model trade‑offs with engineers
• Excellent communication skills for executive audiences
• Thrives in ambiguous environments and brings structure
