About the role
Azure Platform Services team at Caterpillar builds and operates Azure IaaS and PaaS solutions for global mission‑critical systems. The Senior IT Analyst designs, automates, and supports cloud infrastructure, collaborates with architects, and provides technical troubleshooting and training. Bangalore, India, on-site five days a week, relocation assistance available.
What you’ll do
- Build, migrate, and manage Azure IaaS/PaaS services
- Develop and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code using PowerShell, Python, YAML, ARM templates
- Provide technical SME support, root‑cause analysis, and performance tuning
- Collaborate with senior architects and global cloud teams
- Create documentation, training, and onboarding materials
- Contribute to cloud governance, security standards, and operational excellence
What you’ll bring
- 7+ years Azure cloud experience
- Hands‑on with Azure IaaS (VMs, VNets, Storage) and PaaS (App Services, Functions, SQL)
- Automation using PowerShell, Python, YAML, ARM templates, CI/CD pipelines
- Strong troubleshooting of distributed systems
- Ability to work independently and respond to off‑shift support calls
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Azure certifications (AZ‑900, AZ‑104, AZ‑500, AI‑900)
- Experience with Scrum methodology
