About the role
Platform Engineering at Serko drives the development of shared services that form the foundation for all travel product offerings. The Director of Product defines strategy, roadmap, and AI‑native platform services, collaborates with engineering and product peers, and leads end‑to‑end product delivery from ideation to launch. Bengaluru, hybrid work model, relocation support available.
What you’ll do
- Define platform product strategy and roadmap
- Collaborate with engineering and product directors to align priorities
- Drive AI‑first platform agenda and model‑driven capabilities
- Oversee full product lifecycle from ideation to launch
- Communicate progress to executives and partners
- Set and track KPIs for platform success
- Mentor junior product managers
- Balance long‑term vision with tactical execution
What you’ll bring
- 10+ years product leadership
- experience building API‑first platforms
- track record delivering AI‑native services
- strong analytical and data‑driven decision making
- expertise in stakeholder management and influencing senior leaders
- experience in high‑growth tech environments
- knowledge of travel tech industry preferred
- ability to mentor product managers
