The associate leverages industry‑leading tools such as Collibra, Informatica, Alteryx, Tableau, and SQL to profile data, establish quality rules, and visualize findings. With a strong foundation in data analytics, project management, and business analysis, the candidate will champion data quality across multiple lines of business, fostering partnerships and accelerating issue resolution. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape data strategy within a global financial institution and contribute to one of the bank’s most significant change programs.

What you’ll do

  • Master data governance, quality, lineage, and metadata concepts.
  • Advise on high‑profile data issues via project management and analysis.
  • Implement and support DQ practices across the Corporate & Investment Bank.
  • Use lineage docs to trace data flows and identify issues.
  • Build partnerships with CIB sub‑LOBs and corporate functions.
  • Drive root‑cause analysis and resolution with governance and mapping.
  • Query data marts/stores for insights and root‑cause identification.
  • Collaborate with tech teams to agree on technical DQ resolutions.
  • Document end‑to‑end data journey from creation to consumption.
  • Set up profiling and DQ rules using Collibra, Informatica, and emerging tools.

What you’ll bring

  • 7+ years in Financial Services with data analytics, project management, or business analysis.
  • Proven experience in data quality, lineage, and metadata management.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and lateral thinking skills.
  • Proficient in Excel data manipulation (pivots, formulas, charts).
  • Excellent oral, written, and influencing communication abilities.
  • Self‑starter with time‑management, multitasking, and pressure‑resilience.

Nice to have

  • Experience in CIB and CDO/Data Quality organization.
  • Experience querying database/data stores for analysis.
  • Experience producing PowerPoint presentations for senior audiences.
  • Exposure to Alteryx, Tableau, SQL, Informatica, Collibra tools.
