Senior SAP BW / ABAP Integration Specialist

About the role

Data & Analytics team at Metyis builds end‑to‑end data platforms that enable enterprise‑wide insights for fashion brands. The Senior SAP BW / ABAP Integration Specialist leads analysis, migration and modernization of SAP BW, SAP HANA and ABAP solutions to cloud‑based platforms, designing scalable data pipelines and ensuring data quality. Gurgaon, Hybrid (3 days onsite), relocation assistance available.

What you’ll do

• Lead analysis, migration and modernization of SAP BW, HANA and ABAP to cloud platforms
• Design scalable, maintainable data processing solutions and migration specifications
• Develop source‑to‑target mappings, delta load strategies and validation frameworks
• Collaborate with SAP, Data Engineering, BI, AI and Cloud teams for migration outcomes
• Support testing, regression, parallel runs and post‑go‑live stabilization
• Troubleshoot migration issues, data discrepancies and performance bottlenecks
• Contribute to metadata management, data lineage and documentation for AI‑assisted migration

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years SAP BW (BW on HANA/BW/4HANA) experience
• ABAP development and migration projects
• SAP integration technologies: IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, CDS Views, OData Services
• Strong SQL, data analysis and performance optimization
• Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks)
• Familiarity with data lake/medallion architectures
• Metadata management and data lineage
• Agile delivery environment
