Sr. Network Engineer

About the role

Tech Mahindra is seeking a Sr. Network Engineer in Pune to manage and troubleshoot complex network infrastructure. The role involves maintaining firewalls, switches, wireless systems, and load balancers while ensuring operational stability. This is an on-site position requiring 4-10 years of experience.

What you’ll do

• Install, maintain and troubleshoot firewalls, switches, Wireless infrastructure
• Manage and troubleshoot Network Load balancers
• Apply ITIL concepts for Service Requests, change management, and incident management
• Utilize product knowledge of Juniper DC portfolios including VX LAN and MX routers
• Configure and manage Firewalls from Palo Alto, SRX, Fortinet, and FTD 4
• Maintain Wireless infrastructure using Cisco, Aruba, Juniper Mist, and Meraki
• Manage routers and switches from Cisco, Aruba, and Juniper
• Administer management portals including Juniper Mist, Aruba central, Meraki, and Juniper Aprstra

What you’ll bring

• Sound knowledge of Routing Protocols like OSPF and BGP
• Good understanding of L2 protocols RSTP, Virtual Chassis Fabric, Ether channel
• Experience managing and troubleshooting Network Load balancers
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently and without supervision
• Operational background with basic ticketing tools and ITIL concepts

• Product Knowledge: Juniper DC portfolios (VCF, QFX 5110, SPINE & Leaf architecture)
• Load Balancer: F5
