Senior Cloud & Enterprise Architect

About the role

Bosch Global Software Technologies seeks a Senior Cloud & Enterprise Architect for its Center of Excellence for Cloud Professional Services in Bengaluru, India. The role provides architectural leadership across cloud assessments, solution design, and reviews while driving standardization and AI-augmented engineering practices. This is a full-time, on-site position.

What you’ll do

• Lead cloud assessments, solution architecture and design activities for customer solutions and platforms
• Define and evolve architecture principles, standards and governance practices for Cloud Professional Services
• Lead architecture reviews for solutions in delivery and operations
• Drive the adoption of AI-assisted approaches that augment architects, engineers and operations teams
• Act as a trusted advisor for architecture, platform and operational topics
• Mentor architects and engineers while fostering a culture of engineering excellence
• Translate complex technical topics into clear recommendations for both technical and business stakeholders
• Build alignment across global teams and drive architecture decisions through influence and collaboration

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, IT, Engineering or related field
• 10+ years of experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, SRE or architecture roles
• Deep expertise in designing secure, scalable solutions on major public cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, networking, security and operational design principles
• Experience defining architecture principles, standards and reusable engineering practices
• Solid understanding of incident response, automation and service lifecycle management

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes, AKS, OpenShift, container platforms and cloud-native operating models
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation technologies such as Terraform, Helm
• Experience with GitOps, CI/CD and modern platform engineering practices
• Knowledge of FinOps, cloud governance, security architecture or compliance-related practices
