About the role

Associate Director – Investments Data Management (Alternatives) leads delivery and operational support for alternative asset data across private markets and hedge funds. Drives research, due diligence, performance, risk analytics, and reporting initiatives. Engages stakeholders in research, investment, analytics, technology, and vendors to maintain and sustain data. Deeply understands investment platforms, analytics tools, and solutions. Defines SLAs and support protocols, designs post‑go‑live procedures, and documents data mappings, dependencies, and specifications. Builds, manages, and grows a high‑performance support team, implementing scalable, metrics‑driven operations. Manages stakeholder expectations, delivers projects on time, and influences the organization’s alternative assets data strategy. Requires 10+ years in finance, leading data support teams, and expertise in performance attribution and analytics.

• Governance, metadata, data quality assurance
• Understand investment management processes, portfolio, performance reporting
• Integrate disparate investment data ecosystems, models, pipelines
• Deliver new features: scoping, building, testing, deployment
• Strong analytical skills with Excel, Vision, PowerPoint, Word
• Proficiency in SQL, RDBMS, data modeling, extraction, analysis
