Solution Architect - ERP D2P Data & Analytics

About the role

The Solution Architect - ERP D2P Data & Analytics at Roche designs a scalable, business-aligned data architecture for ERP Demand-to-Pay (D2P) analytics, translating procurement, accounts payable, and travel & expense strategies into measurable outcomes. Day-to-day work includes defining end-to-end data solution architecture, owning data platforms and pipelines, leading data modeling and semantic layers for AI, and enabling analytics and AI across structured and unstructured data. The role is based in Pune and is a full-time position.

What you’ll do

• Define end-to-end data solution architecture, including how D2P data is collected, integrated, and consumed
• Establish platform strategy (cloud / on-prem / hybrid) and own data platforms, components, pipelines, DataProducts, and catalogs
• Define ownership, governance, and lifecycle management, and drive architecture strategy using decentralized or hybrid models
• Support information architecture by assisting the business team in data governance (data risk, privacy, retention, anonymization) and connecting D2P to other data domains
• Support a Data Mesh-based data management framework and apply recommendations for Global Data Strategy for cataloging and shopping experience
• Lead data modeling by defining conceptual, logical, and physical data models and semantic layer for AI, aligning business processes with data structures
• Enable analytics and AI by designing scalable AI data & analytics solutions across structured/unstructured data, including NLP pipelines, embeddings, semantic search, RAG, Generative AI, and Agentic A
• Build cloud-native (AWS/Azure) AI pipelines and integrate seamlessly with enterprise APIs and external systems

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related discipline
• 5+ years of experience in Data Architecture or a similar role, with a proven track record of architecting and designing enterprise-grade analytical and AI products
• 2+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or regulated healthcare technology industry
• 1+ years of experience in AI Architecture and emerging technology
• In-depth knowledge of Snowflake (mandatory)
• Experience maintaining the vision, roadmap, and current landscape for technical solutions, and assessing the impacts of initiatives on risk and application landscapes
• Proficiency in creating Conceptual & Logical Data Models, Taxonomies, and Ontologies for solutions and interfaces
• Ability to define and drive reference architectures, patterns, NFRs, and fitness functions

Nice to have

Professional certifications such as TOGAF Practitioner, CDMP (Associate), or Zachman Associate
