About the role
OneAdvanced is seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) to join its Statutory Accounting team in the Bangalore office in India. The Statutory Accountant will support the preparation and delivery of IFRS group reporting and UK statutory financial statements for multiple UK subsidiaries within a complex multinational group structure. Day-to-day work includes preparing annual IFRS Group Accounts, statutory accounts under IFRS and FRS 102, ensuring compliance with UK Companies Act reporting requirements, managing external auditor relationships, coordinating year-end and interim audits, and preparing technical accounting papers. The role involves close collaboration with UK finance, tax, treasury, and legal teams to provide technical accounting support and drive continuous improvement in reporting processes.
What you’ll do
- Supporting the preparation of annual IFRS Group Accounts
- Supporting the preparation of statutory accounts under IFRS and FRS 102 where applicable
- Ensuring compliance with UK Companies Act reporting requirements
- Managing relationships with external auditors
- Coordinating year-end and interim audits
- Supporting the preparation of technical accounting papers
- Working closely with UK finance, tax, treasury and legal teams
- Providing technical accounting support and driving continuous improvement in reporting processes
What you’ll bring
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
- Based in Bangalore office in India
- Mandatory Big Four (PwC, Deloitte, EY or KPMG) experience
- Minimum 5 years post qualified experience
- Strong IFRS and FRS 102 technical knowledge
- Experience preparing statutory financial statements
- Excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced multinational environment
Nice to have
- Experience with UK statutory reporting
- External audit experience
- Group reporting experience
- ERP systems such as NetSuite
- Exposure to Caseware Accounts Production software
