Workday Finance Systems Analyst

About the role

Finance Systems team at Blackbaud drives efficient, compliant financial operations using Workday. The analyst configures core finance modules, partners with Finance, Accounting, Tax and Treasury to design workflows, manage releases and embed AI‑enabled automation. Hyderabad office, on‑site work model, flexible hours as needed to support business priorities.

What you’ll do

• Configure and maintain Workday finance functionality
• Lead design of financial workflows such as journal entry, billing, procurement and expense processing
• Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into system features and user stories
• Plan and execute Workday release management and testing
• Identify and champion AI‑enabled automation opportunities
• Provide system support via ServiceNow and ensure minimal business disruption
• Develop documentation and strengthen audit and compliance processes

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years configuring Workday Financial systems
• Experience across R2R, O2C, P2P, T&E domains
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Ability to translate complex financial concepts into system designs
• Proven collaboration with Finance, Accounting, IT and Compliance stakeholders
• Workday certifications in Finance modules (preferred)
