About the role

Qualcomm's CPU Software Test Engineering team builds and validates embedded and cloud edge software for server platforms. The Staff Engineer designs, develops and automates test suites, collaborates with hardware and systems teams, and leads complex code reviews to ensure high‑quality firmware and OS performance. Bangalore, India, on-site, full-time.

What you’ll do

  • Design and develop automated test plans and suites
  • Execute functional, integration and system level tests
  • Collaborate with hardware, systems and test engineers
  • Perform code reviews, regression testing and issue triage
  • Document test procedures and results

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field
  • 4+ years software engineering experience
  • 2+ years C/C++/Python programming

Nice to have

  • 8+ years software/firmware validation
  • 5+ years server platform test automation
  • Experience with Ubuntu Server, RHEL, SUSE
  • Strong C and Python skills
  • Knowledge of BIOS/UEFI, BMC firmware
