Amgen Technology team builds innovative software solutions to accelerate drug discovery and delivery. The Senior Associate Software Engineer, Test Automation develops and maintains scalable automation frameworks and test suites, collaborating with product owners, developers, and QA leads to define test strategies and ensure high‑quality releases. Hyderabad, India, on‑site role with hybrid collaboration across global teams.

What you’ll do

Partner with product owners and development teams to define testable requirements
Develop and maintain reusable automation components and frameworks
Build end‑to‑end, API and UI test suites with data‑driven approaches
Drive continuous QA improvements and test coverage in an Agile environment
Perform manual testing for integration, ETL and data validation as needed
Support lifecycle activities like patch validation and upgrade testing

What you’ll bring

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
5-9 years of software engineering experience

Nice to have

Strong hands‑on experience with Selenium, Cypress or Playwright
Proficiency in Python, JavaScript or C#
Developed automation frameworks using GitHub, GitHub Copilot, UiPath
Integrated automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
Experience with API, UI, integration and end‑to‑end testing
SQL and ETL data validation expertise
