General Maintenance Technician

About the role

Join the maintenance team at ibis Nashik, part of the Accor network, to ensure a safe and functional environment for guests through proactive facility care. You will perform routine inspections, troubleshoot HVAC and electrical systems, and execute preventive maintenance on building infrastructure daily. This full-time role is based in Nashik, Maharashtra, India, with flexible shift requirements.

What you’ll do

  • Perform routine inspections of premises, HVAC systems, and equipment
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on air conditioning, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Install, service, and repair air conditioning units including split, window, central AC, and chillers
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, and plumbing issues
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns
  • Maintain records of maintenance work, service logs, and spare parts inventory
  • Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs
  • Ensure proper cleaning and servicing of filters, coils, ducts, and ventilation systems

What you’ll bring

  • Diploma or equivalent education
  • Trade certificate
  • Minimum 1 year hands-on experience in general maintenance

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations
  • Basic computer skills for maintenance management systems
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects and climb ladders
  • Flexibility to work different shifts and respond to emergencies
