About the role
PHINIA Systems Team builds advanced engine management and vehicle systems to enhance efficiency and reduce emissions. As a Senior Systems Engineer you will capture customer requirements, design control algorithms in Matlab/Simulink, develop specifications, conduct system testing and vehicle trials. Bengaluru, India, on-site role with hybrid collaboration as needed.
What you’ll do
- Capture and analyze customer requirements
- Design control algorithms and strategies in Matlab/Simulink
- Develop requirement specification documentation
- Prepare system test specifications and plans
- Conduct system testing and vehicle trials
- Analyze and resolve customer reported issues
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years experience
- Engine Management Systems experience
- Vehicle and engine calibration exposure
- Understanding of engine systems and components
- Familiarity with diesel regulations (BSVI, Euro VI, OBD II)
- Systems and vehicle validation experience
- Multidisciplinary support on software, systems, verification
- Strong analytical and communication skills
