Mobile Application Developer - iOS & Android

About the role

Mobile Application Developer - iOS & Android (Mobile and Connected Vehicle Services) designs, develops, tests, and maintains enterprise-grade mobile applications supporting Mobile and Connected Vehicle Services platforms. The role owns the complete mobile development lifecycle across Android and iOS, including requirements analysis, solution design, implementation, code reviews, testing support, and deployment. Based in Hyderabad or Bengaluru, India, the position works full-time on a 40-hour weekly schedule.

What you’ll do

• Analyze business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and technical specifications with the Project Manager, Analyst, Architect, QA Lead and stakeholders
• Develop native Android applications using Kotlin
• Develop native iOS applications using Swift
• Design scalable, maintainable, and high-performance mobile solutions
• Integrate mobile applications with backend APIs, authentication services, and cloud platforms
• Perform unit testing and support integration, system and UAT testing activities
• Conduct peer code reviews and contribute to engineering quality improvements
• Support CI/CD, build management, release management, and deployments

What you’ll bring

• 6+ years of mobile application development experience
• Strong expertise in Android development using Kotlin
• Strong expertise in iOS development using Swift
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture patterns and design principles
• Experience integrating mobile applications with enterprise APIs and cloud services
• Experience working in Agile, Scrum, SAFe or DevOps environments
• Experience conducting peer code reviews and mentoring developers
• Strong understanding of coding standards, secure coding practices, code quality metrics and engineering best practices

Nice to have

• Connected vehicle, telematics, mobility or IoT application experience
• Experience publishing applications to Apple App Store and Google Play Store
• Experience with mobile monitoring, analytics, and crash reporting platforms

Education

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Electronics or related field.
