Software Development Engineer II

About the role

Software Development team at CSG builds enterprise billing and customer experience platforms. The Software Development Engineer II designs, develops, tests, and deploys C#/.NET applications, collaborates with product owners on BRDs, and mentors junior engineers. Remote work from India, full-time, with flexible hybrid options available.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications using C# and .NET
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to refine requirements
• Debug and troubleshoot complex software issues
• Create and review software design specifications and architecture
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented code
• Conduct unit, integration, and system testing
• Mentor junior team members and produce technical documentation

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3-5 years C#/.NET development
• Strong Agile methodology experience
• Ability to interpret Business Requirements Documents
• Proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting
• Experience with software design principles
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle
• Experience with unit, integration, and system testing
