About the role

The Director of Commercial Experience Architecture & Engineering at S&P Global leads the strategy, design, and delivery of Salesforce Sales Cloud capabilities across the enterprise. Day-to-day, the role defines scalable Sales Cloud architecture and global templates, drives AI-led automation and seller productivity initiatives, and establishes governance and data-integrity standards to accelerate revenue growth and create a unified commercial engine. The position collaborates with Commercial Technology, Finance Technology, and Data teams and is based in Islamabad (PK), Gurugram (Haryana), or Hyderabad (Telangana) on a hybrid work model.

What you’ll do

• Define scalable Sales Cloud design standards and global templates
• Lead pipeline management, forecasting, territory management, and automation initiatives
• Standardize opportunity lifecycle processes globally
• Drive AI-driven lead scoring, next-best-action, and workflow automation
• Reduce manual touchpoints in sales processes and improve CRM usability and adoption
• Support data governance practices within Sales Cloud that pipeline hygiene and forecasting accuracy standards
• Design, build, and implement scalable Salesforce Sales Cloud solutions that accelerate revenue growth and improve seller productivity
• Optimize core Sales Cloud processes to reduce friction, shorten sales cycles, and directly accelerate revenue

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent professional experience in software architecture and development
• 10+ years of progressive experience in a leadership role managing Salesforce platforms, with a preference for multi-org governance experience in organizations with 5,000+ end users or equivalent compl
• Expert-level proficiency across multiple Salesforce Sales Cloud and a strong understanding of declarative and programmatic development strategies, including package development methodologies and enter
• Demonstrated experience establishing and operationalizing enterprise governance frameworks, including intake, prioritization, decision-right models, and escalation standards across complex, matrixed o
• Proven ability to develop and manage technology portfolio oversight, including KPI definition, ROI measurement, value realization tracking, and capability rationalization across multiple business divi
• Experience leading cross-functional stakeholder alignment, multi-year roadmap planning, and release governance across large enterprises, including presenting technology strategy and investment decisio
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus at all levels of the organization
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to architect scalable, reusable solutions that meet both current and future business requirements

Nice to have

• Experience with strategic roadmap development, including multi-year planning, capability gap analysis, and business case development for enterprise platform investments
• Hands-on experience championing AI, automation, and data-driven innovation initiatives within a Salesforce environment
• Prior experience in a $5B+ revenue organization supporting commercial technology functions such as sales operations, customer success, or revenue operations
• Experience rationalizing overlapping platform capabilities and driving consolidation or reusability strategies across multiple Salesforce instances or business units
